If you somehow missed it plastered across social media, Dion Lee is joining forces with
Target Australia to release an exclusive one-off womenswear range on July 2nd, and we couldn’t be more excited! The Dion Lee for Target collection covers everything from signature technical silhouettes, a bold colour palate and a first performance wear collection. With so much to look forward to, we’re counting down our top five reasons to be excited about the designer collaboration.
5. PERFORMANCE WEAR
For the first time since his 2008 debut, Dion Lee has created a range of performance gear, and it’s enough motivation to find your way back to the gym. Translating his signature lazer cut patterns and bold colour ways to the range, the pieces are sure to feature in a LOT of #fitspo posts.
4. ACCESSORIES
Dion Lee for Target not only delivers amazing clothing, but also the ultimate range of accessories. Standouts include the black neoprene tote with utility hardware and the bucket bag with luxe leather details, where the timeless slip-on shoes provide casual style, and a black mule delivers a modern edge to any look.
3. THE PRINTS
While the Melbourne winter uniform is strictly all-black, we’re happy to make an exception for these! The digital prints and paint splatter patterning are both in keeping with the newly fashion forward Target and with Dion’s aesthetic.
2. THE SILHOUETTES
Architectural, modern silhouettes rule the collection and are more than welcome in our winter wardrobes. We love the subtle detailing and sport luxe direction on the collection, and if previous Designers For Target releases are anything to go by, we’re sure that there’s a lot of you that want a piece, too!
1. THE PRICE
Obviously the best part of a Target partnership is the affordability. Prices for the collection range between $25 and $119, giving you a designer look on a high street budget. Who doesn’t love that?
The Dion Lee for Target range will launch in 35 Target stores nationally and online at www.target.com.au/dionlee as part of the retailer’s ‘Designers for Target’ program on July 2nd, 2015.
Ooh, excited about the workout gear! Can’t wait to order some!
