Stevie May made its debut at MBFWA with a beautiful presentation in the Anna Schwartz Gallery in the Carriageworks precinct. Founded by designer Cassie Vecchione in January this year, Stevie May has already captured the imagination of fashion lovers with its luxe bohemian vibe.

In order to ensure that guests at the show were able to fully absorb the beautiful detailing of each piece, Vecchione presented the collection with each model standing on plinths like works of art. The evening also marked the launch of a fashion film designed to accompany the collection. The film which had an original score created by sound artists Ginger & The Ghost was projected on a large scale behind the models.

Speaking about her first showing Vecchione said “I loved the elegance of the evening. I felt it captured the collection and brand perfectly.”
