She’s the blogger with enviable pregnancy style and makes dressing a bump look easy. We go under the covers with Simone Pérèle and Sarah Jane from She Is Sarah Jane to find out how this first time mother-to-be keeps in shape, what she wears to bed and what her everyday luxury is.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Cuddle our two gorgeous dogs – Mika and Arbie, and then tune into Karl Stefanovic on the Today Show.
Where in the world would you love to spend one night and why?
I have a small obsession with Marie Antoinette so that’s easy. I would love to spend the night at the Palace of Versailles, with a banquet and bed fit for a queen!
It’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of everyday life. Why do you think it’s important to not only take the time to invest in beautiful lingerie, but to wear it every day too?
We get so caught-up in the daily grind that is life, so sometimes it’s nice to spoil yourself with the little luxuries – sexy lingerie, your favourite perfume and a great bag!
What’s one piece of lingerie every woman should own?
You can’t go past a black lace bra – the perfect combination of sexy and femme.
You have an amazing body, how do you keep in shape?
At 35 weeks pregnant I will totally take that compliment, thank you! I always did and still do two personal training sessions per week and additional gym time if I have the energy. It’s all about striking when the iron is hot during the third trimester! Eating well of course is key.
Marilyn Monroe once famously said she just wears Chanel No 5 to sleep. What do you wear to bed?
Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel – we should have been besties ;). Ask my husband, I cannot get into bed without showering, moisturising head-to-toe and spraying some Coco! I am very much a creature of habit.
When do you feel sexiest?
Obviously having confidence in how I look and feel makes a big difference, but I would have to say after a fabulous blowave!
What’s your everyday luxury?
During summer it’s definitely a mango, but on a normal day I can’t go past my Diptyque shower gel.
