Spring/Summer ‘15 will see PUMA release the latest installment of their eagerly anticipated collaboration with Parisian label Brooklyn We Go Hard (BWGH). Continuing the fruitful relationship between the two brands, the collection is a 360- degree concept that fuses together new colour palettes with unexpected fabrics, across a range of footwear, apparel and accessories.
Since 2010, BWGH founders David Obadia and Nelson Hassan have been at the forefront of urban culture, translating their experiences into iconic designs. The Parisian duo continues to take inspiration from PUMA’s rich sporting heritage, with this seasons collaboration seeing classic silhouettes transformed through a sophisticated material execution of plush nubucks, leathers and jersey materials.
Effortlessly blending style and sport, the apparel designs feature contemporary considered fits; sophisticated and slim based on BWGH’s patterns and measurement charts.
The collection pulls additional inspiration from contemporary artist Ethan Cook, a born and raised New Yorker who is famed for his square and rectangle prints. Ethan’s trademark colour palette of light grey, turquoise and navy blue is reflected throughout the collection, and gives an unmistakable slick urban edge.
The range is completed as PUMA and BWGH venture back into one of the most iconic eras for running sneakers to reinterpret the R698 in true BWGH style.
