International Street Food Festival
Foodies rejoice. The International Street Food Festival hits town on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th January at the Melbourne Showgrounds featuring a huge array of foods from Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.
It’s two days of celebrating street food from across the globe and also celebrating the best in music with headline acts such as Dami Im, Nathaniel, Pete Murray and the Cat Empire.
Not satisfied with that, there are also comedians, market stalls with arts and handmade goodies, as well as plenty of kids activities to keep the whole family entertained.
Tickets can be pre-purchased or purchased at the gate.

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria
There are insufficient words in my vocabulary that can explain how much I enjoyed this exhibition. The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition celebrates the fashion designer’s work over his spectacular career. Featuring more than 140 beautifully crafted garments, a host of intimate and personal photographs, sketches, stage costumes, pieces from runway shows, film, television, concerts and dance performances, this exhibition is one not to be missed.
The collection also includes Gaultier’s first dress created in 1971 to haute couture and one-off designer pieces for Hollywood’s leading ladies including Nicole Kidman, Beyonce and costumes for our favourite Australian export Kylie Minogue.
The innovative exhibition is something just a bit different that will excite lovers of fashion but also those with a keen eye on something just a bit different.
With only three weeks left until the exhibition closes definitely make it to the NGV to see this impressive exhibition.
