Kingdom, the brainchild of Melbourne based creative Hannah Pho, is set to kick of 2015 with a celebration of local design talent and art in all its wonderful forms.
Having organised two Ethical Fashion Markets last year, Kingdom founder Hannah is manifesting her love of design in ‘Love from, Kingdom’- an exhibition celebrating style, art, culture and beauty. Supporters of sustainable and socially conscious fashion and design, Kingdom approach fashion and design with integrity and a love for the craft.
2014 saw Kingdom celebrate ethical fashion, local designers, models and photographers. Passionate about giving back, 22 year old Hannah tells us that ‘Love from, Kingdom’ is her way of thanking the designers and all-round creatives who assisted in Kingdom’s success over the last 12 months. Call it a very fashionable birthday party- with a conscience.
‘Love from, Kingdom’ will also function as a fundraiser to help kickstart the year for Hannah and her team. Following the success of November’s market, Kingdom are currently gearing up for their third Ethical Fashion Market set to take place in June of this year. November’s market saw Kenzo, Comme Des Garcons PLAY, Emporia Armani and Adidas on offer. If the rate at which Kingdom is growing is any indication of things to come, Ethical Fashion Market #3 will be a haven for the fashionably conscious.
The ‘Love from, Kingdom’ exhibition will hit L1 Studios, Little Bourke Street, this Thursday evening. With work by design talents including Helen Pape, Nic Allchin and Jacob Dyer on display, and a pop-up Kester Black nail bar, ‘Love from, Kingdom’ is a must-visit for lovers of fashion and the wide world of design.
Tickets are available at wearekingdom.eventbrite.com or at the door.
