Twinings is hosting a dinner on Monday event (September 29) alongside Gourmet Traveller to launch two new blends as a part of their infusions range – Orange & Cinnamon and Camomile & Spiced Apple. The two new blends add to the already flavoursome variety of fruit flavoured and herbal Infusions range that bring a bit of zest to every day drinking.
Perfect at any time of the day, Infusions are a selection of naturally caffeine free teas that mix the delicate flavors of herbs such as camomile and peppermint with sweet and refreshing tastes of rich and ripe summer fruits.
The Orange & Cinnamon Flavoured Infusion is a bright and fragrant mix that will have you feeling uplifted after a demanding day. The tangy notes of orange complemented by lively cinnamon. Camomile and Spice Apple Flavoured Infusion is a delicate and soothing blend, pairing a subtle floral taste from camomile with cinnamon and cardamon.
Not only can these two refreshing new flavours be enjoyed in a cuppa, but interestingly they can be used in a range of recipes that are being celebrated at the launch Twinings is hosting with Gourmet Traveller at Stokehouse City on Monday 29 September beginning at 7pm.
Head chef at Stokehouse City Ollie Gould has created a custom menu for the evening that incorporates the teas in creative ways, to not only celebrate the launch of the new products but unlock the health benefits of the teas. The menu will include a White Negroni cocktail on arrival, a roast beetroot appetiser, a spanner crab salad entrée and lamb rack main.
The dessert will be a buttermilk panna cotta with almond crumb, orange and cinnamon jelly and Montenegro ice cream.
