Admittedly, I am curiously passionate about skincare. I love talking about it and learning about it. I can happily read up on the latest products and techniques for hours, trying to identify which could help to improve my complexion or address latest concerns. So, you can imagine my excitement when I booked in to experience a treatment by renowned facialist and skin care professional Melanie Grant, at the Double Bay Clinic. With testimonials from some of Australia’s most famous celebrities including model Nicole Trunfio, singer Delta Goodrem, model Lara Bingle and singer Jess Mauboy, Melanie has built her reputation in providing tailored treatments designed to enhance individual skin and complexion to the highest level.
From the moment I stepped into her clinic, I sensed that I was going to experience something special. The setup and décor was inviting, stylish and modern, yet warm. As I sat comfortably in the waiting room area, enjoying a light refreshment, I completed my client profile and noticed the thoughtful attention to details that matter.

Melanie greeted me with a smile and introduced herself as I followed her to a beautifully dimmed room for my consultation. We chatted freely and I highlighted my latest skin hydration issues which I had been struggling to resolve over the past couple of months.

My personalised treatment started with a light microdermabrasion, post cleanse, and an enzyme clinical peel. I was then treated to my first Omnilux Light Therapy session which involved wearing goggles to protect my eyes from a bright light, designed to stimulate the skin’s cells, increase cell productivity and boost natural collagen. A lovely facial massage followed soon after.
Throughout my experience, Melanie made sure I was comfortable. I felt relaxed and pampered, under her professional and genuine care. We shared conversation about our love for food and she passed on the name of her favourite sunscreen which was applied to my face as the final step of my treatment.

I couldn’t help but walk out of the premises smiling, happy and proud to show off my skin ‘sans makeup’. It looked fresh and glowed in the best possible way. What an amazing feeling! Within 1 week I also noticed my hydration issues had disappeared, the texture of my skin felt smoother… my regular skincare products are now working more effectively, penetrating into my skin’s layers.
It’s easy to understand why so many people continue to recommend and speak highly of Melanie and her team. I have already booked my next appointment and I can’t wait to relive the wonderful experience over, and over again.
