Each year, beauty addicts wait in anticipation for OPI’s newest and limited-edition collections of nail polishes. In addition to the “Oz the Great and Powerful Range”, OPI’s latest ranges for 2013 are fresh, fun and absolutely on-trend. They have once again collaborated with celebrities and created a range that every modern and fashionable woman will want on her nails this year.
International superstar Mariah Carey is the latest celebrity to inspire a new nail lacquer range by OPI. The newest collection includes four standard nail lacquers and four technologically advanced lacquers that give you a textured sand like finish. Also known as ‘Liquid Sand’, these glittery polishes do not need a top coat and dry pebbly with a matte finish. These will be loved by those who enjoy a unique lacquer that is textured rather than smooth.
In this collection, OPI has given has named the ‘Liquid Sand’ range as the ‘Studio Shades’ and the original OPI lacquers ‘Stage Shades’. Most shades only require two coats and will take 5 to 15 minutes to dry.
The Studio Shades (Liquid Sand Polish) are: Anti Bleak, Sprung, A Butterfly moment and Pink Yet Lavender. The Stage Shades are: Get Your Number, Can’t Let Go, The Impossible and Stay The Night.
Another fun range to be released this year is the Euro Centrale collection. This range showcases colours from different elements of Central Europe including their gothic churches, graffiti murals and modern architectures. Besides the bright, neutral and metallic colours in this collection, each of the 12 shades has a fun and quirky name to represent its origins.
The Euro Centrale range that includes a variety of bold metallic shades, bright and happy colours and deep shades. Each name is considered very carefully and like all OPI names, are witty and fun.
Along with these collections, Nicole by OPI also have 2 exclusive collections that are due to be released on March 14th. Joining the likes of the Kardashians and Justin Bieber,in 2013 Selena Gomez and The Modern Family join as inspiration for the brand.
Selena Gomez’s range has 14 shades inspired by the actress and singer, representing her fun personality. There are variety of colours that will suit any occasion.
Also with an array of 14 shades, The Modern Family collection represents the personality of each character of the popular television show. Again accompanied with great polish names, this collection is full of variety.
