Dark Stars
Dark Stars is a play that tells the story of two 19th century African-American performers, and the forgotten entertainer Irving Sayles, as they examine racist humour and the cost of one’s dignity. Dark Stars has been nominated for ‘Best Play’ at Fringeworld.

Transitions Film Festival- Sustainable Living Festival
The Sustainable Living Festival invites you to its second annual Transitions Film Festival, in a bid to help change our perception of the environment and how to take the next step towards a greener lifestyle. Featuring films such as Promised Land starring Matt Damon and the highly anticipated Chasing Ice with National Geographic photographer James Balog’s journey across the Antarctic. Transitions also includes a number of free film screenings at ACMI and Federation Square; if you ride your bike in, you score cheaper tickets!

Bikefest: Ride-In Coburg Cinema Drive-In
February is the month of being environmentally conscious; ditching the car and being proactive about climate change. So get on your bike and head to the movies for a ‘ride-in’. A small BBQ is also included but byo picnics are welcome. Be sure to bring extra clothing and blankets so you remain comfortable after the sun goes down.
