Hosted behind the glass walls of The Olsen Hotel, the Ambra, Levante & Jonathan Aston Autumn/Winter 2013 showings was an intimately private affair accompanied by marshmallow treats, fruit and chocolate lollipops, lace and sheer tights.
Jonathan Aston’s hosiery and socks were an instant eye-catcher, with strong, bold lines and embroidery particularly standing out. The Autumn/Winter collection features three particular trend segments, each encapsulating a different look.
Prim & Improper is for the daring ‘saint and sinner’, that combines elegance and sophistication with a seductive edge. ‘It’s about fetish fashion worn under a proper exterior.’
Whilst the Lavish hosiery is all about decadence and opulence and creating a look of ‘luxury and extravagance’.
Wild Winter is about style and functionality. Inspired by the traditional look of heritage fabrics, knitting and crotchet, these tights have texture, warmth, comfort and style.
Italian lingerie and hosiery label, Levante’s collection, exclusive to select boutiques, also didn’t disappoint. A lovely range of hosiery featured, as well as dainty lace underwear that was particularly beautiful in both its silhouette, texture and touch. The collection is elegant, tasteful and timeless, encapsulating how a woman should feel underneath – comfortable and stylish.
Ambra’s collection offered practicality in their form-fitting slips and briefs that give you a Killer Figure, as well as comfort in their Body Bare range and the ultimate winner, Dream Bra that offers ease, support and comfort all at once. The collection is fun and colourful as well, with fluoro pink, yellow and blue slips, tops and bottoms featuring.
The collection also continued its fun with their range of printed and colourful tights that had both quirk and style.
With a stunning range of trendy, beautiful and fun set of intimates, Ambra, Levante & Jonathan Aston proved that it’s not always about what’s on the outside when it comes to fashion.
A beautiful showing that was perfectly charming in each of its elements.
