GRILL’D HEALTHY BURGERS
Grill’d, Australia’s leading brand in healthy burgers, innovation and community good has reaffirmed its pledge to create a better future for our planet, one delicious, healthy burger at a time. To kick start the year, Grill’d has relaunched their popular ‘Meat Free Mondays’ with a buy one get one free offer on plant-based burgers, and introduced ‘Tree Day Tuesday’, a partnership with not-for-profit environmental organisation, Greenfleet, to plant a Grill’d forest that will be protected for 100 years.
Meat Free Mondays:
We know that committing to a plant-based diet just one day a week is good for your health and can also be an environmentally conscious switch for the planet. Grill’d uses ‘Beyond’ patties in their plant-based burgers which require less water and energy during production and emit fewer greenhouse gasses than beef. Every Monday, Relish members can switch out meat for a variety of plant-based options, enjoying a 2-for-1 offer on any meat-free burger when they dine-in at Grill’d restaurants. Customers simply need to sign up to the free Grill’d Relish loyalty program via the website or app to be eligible.
Tree Day Tuesdays
Grill’d has partnered with Greenfleet, a leading not-for-profit organisation committed to protecting the global climate and restoring our Australian native forests and biodiversity. Every Tuesday, $1 from every burger purchased by a Relish member who dines in will go towards planting a one-hectare Grill’d forest that will be protected for 100 years, helping to offset carbon emissions and leave behind a better world for future generations. This means that every four to five weeks, Grill’d can support growing a forest and with the help of its loyal customers, aims to plant 10 forests by 2022.
Working with the Traditional Owners of the land, the Dja Dja Wurrung people, Greenfleet will plant native trees planted will revegetate the area and help restore the ecosystem. This will create habitats for native species that could not exist anywhere else in the world and a vital vegetation link across the country
