Gandys gives 10 per cent of their profits to support projects abroad that aid the provision of education and health care for children in need. By 2014, the 10th anniversary of the tsunami, Gandys are aiming to have sold 230,000 pairs of flip flops, making it possible to open the first Gandys children’s home. All money donated to the Gandys Fandation goes towards building Gandys first children’s home in India.
Gandys are unique in their rope strap design, and continue their love of travelling through to the regionally-stamped branding. As well as inspiring people around the world to join the movement and donate, the brothers have also made an impact in the fashion world, with celebrity fans and having just won the WGSN Global Fashion Award for best footwear/accessories design team.
